Billingham Legacy Foundation Supports Billingham Activity Group

Published by Alison Watson-Shields on

We recently received fantastic news – Billingham Legacy Foundation have agreed to help subsidise the cost of venue hire for our Billingham Activity and Carer Support groups, which meet every Tuesday morning at St Aiden’s Church Hall, Billingham – just behind John Whitehead Park in the town centre.

We feel so incredibly lucky to have had the ongoing support from Billingham Legacy Foundation now for many years, helping us to keep our doors open, particularly with the current cost of living crisis having most people keeping a tight control over their purse strings!

This funding means that from the beginning of April and right through until the end of September we will be able to operate and ask for a reduced contribution from our attendees. So, from April we will ask for a £2 per person contribution whether you are a person living with dementia or a care partner. We hope that this reduction will enable more people to join our weekly sessions in Billingham.

Huge thanks to our friends at the Billingham Legacy Foundation for recognising and understanding the value of the work that we do and for continuing to support us.
