This morning our theme was physical games.

At the start of the sessions I shared the information with the group about the upcoming Beamish trip, handed out the fliers and answered questions from the group.

Next, I opened the suitcase full of physical games and the group were encouraged to help themselves to the games they wanted to play. Some group members set up cricket, quoits and bowling, while another smaller group took the lawn darts outside to the church garden.

For those who didn’t feel like joining in the physical games, we provided 2 decks of cards and some dominoes.

Next week there is no Young At Heart ULO session at St John’s Church as the group are going to Beamish. The week after is a Bank Holiday, so Young At Heart returns on Monday 5th September.
