This week at Young At Heart ULO we talked romance, explored our creative side and worked on our circus skills.
In Stockton, on Monday morning, the group were talking romance, writing (some very risqué) valentines poems and creating small pieces of artwork that will be made into a larger piece made up of work from all Young At Heart ULO groups.
In Billingham, we welcomed DZ Circus School back to work with us to continue to develop our range of circus skills. This time they introduced us to the poi; a weighted, colourful bag that is spun on the fingers, and streamer rods; usually seen in gymnastics it is a ribbon attached to a rod.
In Thornaby, the group were feeling just as racy as the Stockton group when they wrote their valentines poems. They also worked on button hearts and flowers to be part of the larger artwork.
Next week at Young At Heart ULO we will be playing a range of number games and talking all things food-related.
