This week at Young At Heart ULO we offered both crafts and chocolate to our group members.

In Stockton, the group made a start on the clay poppies for our contribution to Big Ideas national ‘Unremembered’ Project – a memorial for the tens of thousands of people who lost their lives during World War 1.

The Billingham group, who are back in the Community Hub at John Whitehead Park, also created some clay poppies for the ‘Unremembered’ project while still trying to settle into their refurbished surroundings.

In Thornaby, we celebrated World Chocolate Day by (over)indulging in a variety of chocolate bars and chocolate-coated nibbles and taking part in a chocolate-themed quiz.

Next week we will be taking part in some physical exercise of some sort at each of the groups.
