This morning at Young At Heart we had a social session, using the opportunity to catch up with our friends after last week’s Bank Holiday.

We had some magazines donated dating back to 1966 (50 years old!) so the group spent some time flicking through the pages and chatting about the contents while enjoying a cup of tea and a piece of chocolate cake.

We shared details of the Dementia Awareness Week activities with the group, the carers and the CST group next door and discussed what we would like to do to celebrate. If the weather is nice we are going to play outdoor games in the church garden.
