This morning was a new experience for our group as they attended their very first ‘special meeting’ to discuss what is working well and not so well, as well as appointing a temporary management committee to see us through to the AGM in April.

It is nice that our members are keen to take a leading role in the management of the group and are all looking at different ways that their life skills can support the longevity of the group.

Now that we have our temporary committee we will be sourcing funding opportunities and preparing for our 1st AGM in a number of years.

Next week we will be introducing our weekly raffle, with a range of prizes donated by our members and our activity will be around ‘sound’, but that is all I can tell you right now.

We are closed on March 21st and 28th for Easter, but will return on April 4th.
